CruiseApply helps you find job openings, research them, tailor your resume from facts you provide, prepare applications, and track replies. This policy explains what data it uses and what it never does.
If you connect Gmail, CruiseApply requests:

It classifies messages as application replies, job alerts, recruiter outreach or account notices; only application replies are linked to your applications.gmail.send), only to send notifications to you yourself, for example "an application is ready for your approval". CruiseApply does not send email to anyone else from your account.CruiseApply's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to provide these features to you. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not used to train AI models, and not read by people except where you ask us for support and give permission, or where the law requires it.
To research jobs and tailor documents, relevant text (a job description and the parts of your resume needed for the task) is sent to the AI model provider you choose and connect with your own account or key. That provider processes it under its own terms. CruiseApply does not add your data to any training set.
In early access the app runs on infrastructure under the user's or our control; data is stored in that instance's database and files. We keep it while your account is active and delete it on request. Backups are kept for up to ten days.
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to run the product (hosting, the AI provider you choose, email delivery), and when you submit an application, with the employer you are applying to - and in that case only what the application form asks for.
We will post changes here with a new effective date, and tell users by email for material changes.
